The National Association of Black and White Men Together

 

The National Association of Black and White Men Together (NABWMT) is a gay, multiracial, multicultural organization committed to providing and building supportive environments that overcome racial and cultural barriers and realize human equality. The NABWMT utilizes educational, political, cultural and social activities to combat racism, sexism, homophobia, HIV/AIDS discrimination and other inequities in society. Respect, honesty, and communication among people of different races and cultural backgrounds are of their utmost priority.

Portrait Project

 

Photographer CYJO is the creator of the Portrait Project. The project is composed of portraits of mixed-race families. The portraits are inspired by the evolution of identity and examine the relationship of race, ethnicity, and heritage to a person as an individual and the framework of a family.
