What is Asexuality?
Asexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by not feeling sexual attraction [1]. In other words, a person who is not interested in or does not desire sexual activity within or outside the relationship. A person who is asexual can be loving, affectionate, and romantic towards others. Many asexual persons have partnered in affectional relationships, and some engage in sexual activity [2]. There are many reasons as to why an asexual person might want to have sex, but sex is not an inherent desire the way it is for many sexuals.
